Throughout my career, I’ve developed countless pieces of search-first content for both B2B and B2C companies. When it comes to creating SEO-optimized content, I start with the basics: search volume and keyword difficulty. But my approach doesn’t end there.
I dig deeper — analyzing search intent, identifying gaps in both the SERP and competitor content, and assessing the topical and domain authority of competitors. This approach allows me to create SEO content that ranks well and resonates with audiences.
The proof is in the pudding. At Guideline, I helped develop and execute the SEO content program, which drove a 138% increase in organic search impressions and a 45% growth in organic blog users within its first year.

Brand campaigns that make a splash 💦
When I joined the team at N26, I had one clear mission: help a beloved European bank make a splash in the US market. To achieve this, I worked with a small but mighty team to develop and launch two brand campaigns. First, we went big with an out-of-home campaign across New York, San Francisco, and Chicago, which earned profiles in The Drum, Bank Innovation, Marketing Daily, and Tearsheet. We followed that up with an online video series with Viacom and comedian Jimmy O. Yang.
Creativity and data are at the heart of both campaigns. From developing taglines to writing scripts and brainstorming treatments, we leaned on data to spotlight the features our customers loved most. We then brought those features to the forefront with fresh, attention-grabbing copy and visuals designed to resonate with audiences and set us apart from the competition. In content marketing, it’s important to not just make bold claims, but to substantiate them with evidence. At Guideline, I used data storytelling to help put some weight behind the brand’s positioning and RTBs.
To create these reports, I leveraged customer data to highlight the company’s key differentiators and incorporated industry averages to strengthen narratives. I also collaborated with the research team to develop studies on key industry topics. These reports were used to generate leads via paid social ads and were also pitched to relevant industry publications, resulting in placements in Plan Adviser and Benefits Pro. While branded content has the potential to build trust and visibility, many brands fall short in its execution. When developing branded content, I shift away from direct selling to crafting stories that engage rather than interrupt.

At Guideline, I developed a thought leadership content engine that featured company executives tackling complex topics such as 401(k) compliance, regulation, and legislation. I worked to refine their voices and simplify intricate subjects so they were easy to understand, regardless of a reader's expertise. At Mediaplanet, I created video content for clients spanning various industries. Two standout projects were campaigns with PayPal and HSBC, where I developed video content highlighting their initiatives to empower women in business.

Print CAMPAIGNS that keep pages turning 👌
Print has always been my first true love. As a child, I would flip through magazines and newspapers at the grocery store, captivated by the stories and visuals. That early fascination led me to pursue a career in writing. So, when I had the opportunity to serve as editor-in-chief for Mediaplanet's print campaigns, it felt like a dream come true.
For 3+ years, I led the production of more than 200 issues, setting the editorial direction, making final calls on content and layout, managing tight deadlines, ensuring strategic brand placements, and guiding a talented production team.
